There Is No Night

Today is the 5th of March 2105, the day the last dome goes up. Finally your city will be enclosed by an artificial dome, just as the rest of the world has been. Today is the Big Enclosure and you have been let out of school to attend.

The ceremonies are extravagant and, after the bulk of the dome closes over the city, glowing gently with artificial light, the fun begins. A massive fair is being held to celebrate the event and several of your friends are around to enjoy the day with you.
