There Is No Night

You have never really thought that Chloe was a very interesting person. She is simply one of your girlfriend's friends. And today she is being weirder than usual.

She sidles up to you in a furtive way and says:
"Before Anna gets back, there's something I have to tell you. Whatever you do, avoid this girl who's going to be at the party tonight. She's called Scarlet, you'll recognise her by her red hair, and let me tell you... she's bad news!"

"Uh... okay, what-ever," you say and are saved from any further conversation by the reappearence of Anna in a blue silky dress she wants you to admire. By this time you just want to leave and you tell her it's great so you can go.
