There Is No Night

Your new friend seems disappointed but he doesn't let go of your hand as the two of you plan your next move.
"I think we should go and reason with the other vampires," he says. "Tell them that it doesn't have to be this way. Maybe humans and vampires can live together in peace." He squeezes your hand affectionately.
"You mean explain about the poetry and stuff?" you ask, trying to think this through. "Wouldn't it be a better idea to try and take the dome down or something?"

He shakes his head at you and his floppy hair flops about.
"Oh no," he says. "That will never work. The vampires are too powerful. We just have to hope that reason will prevail. Will you come with me to their lair?
